History bleeds and government maintains silence....

Its been 26 years that worlds worst industrial catastrophe Bhopal gas tragedy took place. It was the night of 2-3 December 1984 when this disaster took place and thousands of innocents people lost their lives.so many years passed but the hearts of sufferers are still bleeding as they have not got justice yet .on the name of justice what all they got is compensation.after 26 years judgement In June 2010, seven ex-employees, including the former UCIL chairman, were convicted in Bhopal of causing death by negligence and sentenced to two years imprisonment and a fine of about $2,000 each, the maximum punishment allowed by law. An eighth former employee was also convicted but died before judgment was passed.but the main culprit warren Anderson he is still breathing in free open air .whenever the matter gets a hit and publicity in the media lots of discussions and talks happen at various podiums and pannels but only result that comes out is more compensation. You think any money can compensate for the deaths of all those innocent people...and the irony is all the people who should be punished for supporting the Anderson are at the helm of power and in the deciding position so what justice you can expect from them..its high time now people must break the silence and question the government and judiciary when a person is hanged till death in a rape case or murder case then why government is taking any action the murderers of thousands of souls...i leave it upto you to question....

attitude decides your way in life.....and we are incharge of our attitude...

The longer i live, the more i realize the impact of attitude on life.Attitude ,to me is more important than the past ,the education ,the money ,than circumstances, than failure, than successes ,than what people think or say or do.It  is more important than appearance ,giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company..a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.we cannot change our past,we cannot change the fcat that people will act in  a certain way .We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have and that is our attitude.I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% of how we react to it....we are incharge of our attitude ...so always carry a positive attitude in life and learn and accept even sorrows and your failures with open heart and mind...

female infanticide....darker side of India..

In rural areas where people do not have access to sex determination techniques or other medical facilities female infanticide is shockingly common.since they dont have any option to know about the sex of the baby during conception they wait for the baby to take birth .and if the born child is a boy celebrations hit the house but if a female child is born ,they kill the baby using various methods as they desire only for male child and consider girl child as a curse and burden.they kill the baby by drowning the baby in ponds and sometimes even in bucket filled with milk,or they starving the baby, burying her alive, giving her poison ,dumping her in garbage bin, strangling the baby, leaving her outside overnight so she dies of exposure.
saddest part of this whole scene is that female infanticide is not considered big crime.and generally people dont get punished after killing their newborn baby.Only a few get convicted that too only if the case gets hype or publicity. Its really shame for  a country like India where women has been given the name of goddess.female inafnticide in the land of goddesses is very shameful and people dont get convicted as it is hardly recognised as a crime is a shame on the judiciary and system.Who should be held responsible for this.Who should take the charge of saving the little newborn girl child who cannot speak, who cannot shout, who cannot plea for help....what all she can do is cry on her destiny which was written not by the ultimate almighty creator but by her own parents....she can only cry seeing the handicapped people all around her .......

women empowerment......behind the scene....

very often we talk about women's empowerment .government ,non-government social organisations and many others come up to flaunt works that they have done for women's empowerment.but the question is ...Are women actually getting empowered or we just keep talking of empowerment seeing the sample of handful women of elite class who never lacked power or are already socially and financially empowered .what about those rural women who are still struggling day and night behind the 'Parda' and spending their lives in front of stoves and chimney .what about these women .are they being empowered ?are the policies that government has made for their empowerment actually reaching the grass root level or just being lost in their midway and become limited only upto elite class and upper middle class women.Indian women would get empowered in real sense only when these rural women get opportunities to come out of 'parda' and stand on their own .
